My computer is over 3 years old but now runs like it's brand new thanks to the memory upgrade. This was the best value for memory that I found on the internet.
Would be interesting to see how 3gb of ram works. Going to buy a few more for my mini itx board which supports only up to 1gb ram. What a breath of free air for my Dell Dimension 2400. Highly recommended. Just awesome. Installed without no problems in less than 5 minutes. Too bad motherboard only supports 2 gb.
The errors occurred during boot. I thought, at first, that that it would not work because I paired it with the 512 stick but it also failed alone. Would not find the system disk and, also, some other error which I can't remember. Did not seem to work or, at best, worked intermittently. I have a 512mb stick which is essentially identical except for capacity.
My PC speed is up to the roof. I'm completely happy with my product. The DDR was received within 3 days of my order. I can work multiple applications: burn a CD, download and still browse fine, with a CPU usage reading less than 9%. I definetely recommend this seller. I installed it, turn the PC back on and it had been working perfect ever since. Over 7 weeks now and no issue.
I've generally had good experience with Kingston memory products so this is just another one. Used this to upgrade my mother's computer which still only had 256MB. The performance increase was expected but there's no high intensity programs being run.
